Change of Command
Nov 1, 2020 • Bill Titus
On All Saints' Sunday, we reflect not just on those who’ve gone before us but on the ongoing work of God passed down from generation to generation. This sermon focuses on Joshua’s installation as leader after Moses, marking a "change of command." God’s promises continue — even when leadership changes. Whether we are stepping into new authority or stepping back after long service, our lives are part of a larger mission. Like Moses, like Joshua, like all the saints, we are called to lead faithfully for a time, then trust that God's work will go on in the hands of those who follow.
