Behind Closed Doors

In the wake of the resurrection, the disciples find themselves locked behind closed doors, paralyzed by fear and uncertainty. In this sermon, we reflect on how their story mirrors our own isolated, anxious, longing for peace. But Jesus enters their fear, not with commands or condemnation, but with a blessing: “Peace be with you.” This message reminds us that the peace of Christ doesn't require perfect circumstances. It meets us in our most vulnerable spaces, bringing assurance, presence, and the breath of the Holy Spirit. Even behind closed doors, Christ is with us.
