Happy Father's Day
Jun 21, 2020 • Bill Titus
On a day when we celebrate fathers, this sermon invites us into a deeper reflection on what it means to follow Christ with boldness and truth. Drawing from Jesus’ difficult words in Matthew 10, we hear that discipleship is not comfortable or convenient it is costly. It requires us to stand firm, even when doing so puts us at odds with the world around us sometimes even our families. With humor, wrestling analogies, and raw honesty, we’re reminded that following Jesus isn’t about being liked it’s about being faithful. So, pick up your cross, even when it feels like the world is in the ring against you.
